McDonald Brickwork has gained the reputation as one of the leading brickwork and builderswork specialists operating in London and the South East and now work for many of the UK's leading contractors. As a result of our continuing success and growing order book, we continulally need to add to our experienced workforce and listed below are some of the current vacancies that we have.

Contracts Manager
We are looking to strengthen our management team to service our increased workload and are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to add to our team. It will be important that you have experience of managing multiple site works on busy projects across the South-East and and have a full understanding of site Health & Safety requirements, planning and programming of resource. You must have experience of working for leading main contractors and be familiar with managing site budgets and ensuring that works comply with Contract specifications and orders. This position is equally suitable for a QS with proven management skills

Site Bricklayers
We are looking for experienced site bricklayers for our projects in London and the South East. You must have experience of working on large construction projects, for leading main contractors and be familiar with your responsibilities under site Health & Safety rules.

Brickwork and Builderswork Labourers
We are also looking for experienced site labourers for our projects in London and the South East. You must have experience of working on large construction projects, for leading main contractors and be familiar with your responsibilities under site Health & Safety rules. You must also have the ability to check and manage material using your own initiative to keep site works running.

Bricklaying Foreman/Supervisor
With the increase in secured work, we are looking to add to our site management team and want to add further experienced bricklaying foremen/supervisors to our team. It will be important that you have experience of managing bricklaying teams on London projects and have a full understanding of site Health & Safety requirements. for our projects in London and the South East. You must have experience of working on large construction projects, for leading main contractors and be familiar with managing materials for site teams.

Quantity Surveyor/Estimator
With an increase in workload we are looking to add to our commercial team by appointing an additional Quantity Surveyor and Estimator or an individual capable of fulfilling both posts. This person or persons will need to have previous experience of working within the construction industry, preferably with direct brickwork experience. They will need to be able to identify opportunities for value engineering and cost reduction as well as being commercially astute. Obviously they will need to be able to interpret drawings and specifications and ensure that our works are correctly costed.

Buyer
With many of our projects being awarded on a Labour, Materials and Plant basis, we are looking to add an experienced buyer to our office team. This individual must be capable of taking off materials from drawings, using contract specifications and scheduling and purchasing materials, ancillaries and equipment in order to dservice the contracts works. We are obviously looking for an individual who is able to source and negotiate competitive rates and you should have experience of working for similar organisations.
